The International Network for Advancing Science and Policy (INASP) is pleased to announce the launch of a new freely available self-paced tutorial: Facilitating Events and Courses in an Online World, drawing on its experience in running and facilitating a wide range of online activities,
Developed in response to our partners' needs, the tutorial provides practical guidance on how to get started with online events and training activities and how to facilitate them. The tutorial is free to users around the world but has a particular focus on the needs of those who are new to online facilitation and who are facilitating online activities and events with participants in low- and middle-income countries. With a total learning time of 12 hours, the tutorial consists of four units:
1. introduction to online facilitation, including benefits and challenges
2. moving events online
3. facilitating online events, with some suggestions for activities
4. facilitating online courses.
