Vacancies and opportunities: The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data is looking for a passionate and dynamic Policy Associate with strong research and writing skills who will help advance our policy agenda, particularly around more and better financing for data. Working closely with the Senior Director of Policy and the secretariat team, the Policy Associate will track debates on development data, identify opportunities where the Global Partnership is uniquely positioned to contribute, and amplify partners’ work in support of global advocacy on data.

Call for Proposals | Evaluation of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data is soliciting proposals for an external evaluation to better understand — both in terms of its ability to achieve intended outcomes, and in terms of its operational structure and approach — what is working well, what is not, and where there are areas for improvement.

The Global Partnership invites qualified individuals, firms, and organizations (“Offerors”) to submit a proposal for the requested services (including an Evaluation Budget Template) to proposals@data4sdgs.org by June 1, 2018.

Citizen Generated Data Consultant

The Global Partnership is seeking a consultant/consulting firm with considerable experience and knowledge of the data for development space and citizen generated data (CGD) in particular, to conduct research and analysis aiming to 1) produce recommendations on what types of CGD initiatives are best suited to different purposes, actors, and needs, and what this means for their potential to scale and be combined with other data sources, and 2) produce guidance aimed primarily at official stakeholders at all levels of government and international organizations, on how to navigate and engage with the different types of CGD initiatives.

The Global Partnership invites qualified individuals, firms, and organizations (“Offerors”) to submit a proposal for the requested services to proposals@data4sdgs.org by June 8, 2018.
