UJ’s MPhil in Social Policy and Development is now open

Are you a development professional in business, civil society or the state that is interested in Corporate Social Responsibility, social policy and planning at local, provincial and national levels that would like to advance a career in development?

The University of Johannesburg is offering MPhil in Social Policy and Development  founded by the Centre for Social Development in Africa,  is due to begin in 2019. The programme is intended to build your knowledge and practice capacity in developing and analysing social policies and interventions intended to address social development challenges at the national, community and household level in South Africa and the Southern African region. The course will also have applicability to other developing contexts.

Application closing dates are as follows:

  •  1st closing date (to be eligible for one of the scholarships on offer by the SARChI30 June 2018.

If you wish to apply for one of the scholarships please include a separate motivation letter indicating why you should be considered for the scholarship.

  •  2nd closing date: 30 September 2018.

Applications made by this date will not be eligible for the scholarships. No applications will be accepted after this date.
