Season’s greetings – a Happy New Year from the Africa Evidence Network team.
After an eventful 2014, we look forward to a continued relationship during the course of this year. We are happy to announce some exciting Network initiatives, which we would like to share and encourage you to be part of.
Our newsletters will resume this month and we encourage you to contribute to these. We would also welcome blog submissions that will appear on our website. Our first blog for 2015 has been published on online.
The University of Johannesburg’s Building Capacity to Use Research Evidence (UJ-BCURE) programme has published films on its project and activities. We invite you to view and share these with your Networks. The videos are available on the link below and include one film about the AEN.
As requested by members during the colloquium, we are also working towards an updated membership database and may contact you soon with more information in that regard.
In order to promote Network engagement amongst members, we will also be introducing email threads to encourage discussions on the interface of evidence and policy in Africa. We look forward to your participation in these.
We wish you the best for 2015 and look forward to grow our community of practice.
